Manufacture of agricultural polyethylene film

Among the most common agricultural polyethylene films is mulching. Mulching prevents weed growth, water loss through evaporation, and soil erosion.
It's usually manufactured in black, ranging from 90 to 200 cm in length and between 15 and 30 microns. Depending on the length of time it needs to cover the soil, it can be available with or without UV protection.
Tree protector
The tree protectors we make at Explatec have narrow widths and significant thicknesses that more economically replace (among other advantages) protectors manufactured using injection processes.
- The usual widths of the tree protector are usually from 10cm to 20cm depending on the crop;
- For ultraviolet ray protection, an anti-UV additive is used to prevent film degradation. A 12-month protection additive is typically used.
- The thickness is usually 600/800/100 gauge; it is usually manufactured in white in four possible formats:
1. Continuous pipe - the material is supplied in coils; coils can be manufactured in the linear meters required by the customer;
2. Continuous tube printed in 3 colors - continuous reel-to-roll plastic printed in 3 colors; the customer cuts the tube to the required size;
3. Cut tube - the material is presented in individually cut formats.
4. Cut tube printed in 3 colors - the tree protector is cut to size and printed with the design provided by the customer.
